Quick Take: Leinart slips as Warner's solid

What we learned ...

Cardinals QB Matt Leinart struggles: Coach Ken Whisenhunt has maintained an open competition at quarterback, and Leinart had a rough outing at Oakland where he has struggled during his career. Leinart completed only 4 of 12 passes and threw three interceptions. Backup Kurt Warner was solid in his cameo.

J.J. Arrington makes his case: Fourth-year running back J.J. Arrington is on the bubble to make the team, being pushed by rookie Tim Hightower who had another solid game. Arrington showed his big-play ability with a 67-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

Brian St. Pierre makes his case, too: Lost in the Cardinals' quarterback derby is St. Pierre who looks to make the squad as the No. 3 quarterback. Pierre was nearly perfect, going 7-of-8 for 96 yards with an 18-yard touchdown pass to Leonard Pope.

Javon Walker stretches the field: Walker dropped a critical third-down pass last week, but really showed what he could do against the Cardinals. Walker had 4 receptions for 60-yards, including a 27-yard reception.
