Quick Take: Jets-Bills

In Brief

» Last meeting: The Bills had six interceptions in a 16-13 overtime victory against the Jets in Week 6.
» Streaks: Buffalo has won four of the last six and owns a 53-44 overall series edge, including the playoffs.
» Last week:Ryan Fitzpatrick connected with Terrell Owens on the game-sealing touchdown as the Bills sank the Dolphins, 31-14. ... The Jets used an outstanding defensive performance to defeat the Panthers, 17-6.

Keep your eye on ...Perry Fewell's sideline demeanor: Buffalo's interim coach appears to have lit a fire under his team. He is a lot more excitable than his stoic predecessor, Dick Jauron, and he is not afraid to display his passion. In Jets rookie coach Rex Ryan, Fewell will encounter another emotional coach.

The Fitzpatrick-to-Owens connection: Owens, Buffalo's high-profile offseason acquisition, is having one of his least productive pro seasons. He has, however, performed much better when Fitzpatrick is under center. He has has averaged 89.75 receiving yards in Fitzpatrick's four starts, as opposed to just 42.86 in his eight outings with Trent Edwards at quarterback.

Mark Sanchez's confidence: New York's rookie quarterback had the worst game of his young career when these teams met for the first time. He was picked off five times by Buffalo's opportunistic defense, and looked completely flustered in completing just 10-of-29 passes. A similar performance this time around could doom the Jets once again.
