Quick Take: Falcons win wild game over Bears

It was over when ...
Jason Elam's 48-yard field goal squeaked inside the upright to give the Falcons a thrilling 22-20 victory. Chicago had just scored a go-ahead touchdown with 11 seconds remaining, but on the ensuing squib kick, Harry Douglas had a 10-yard return to set up Atlanta at its own 44-yard line. With six seconds left, Matt Ryan hooked up with Michael Jenkins on a 26-yard pass and he went out of bounds with just a tick left on the clock to set up Elam's kick. Relive the stunning finish as Atlanta pulls off a miracle comeback.

Game ball
While Jamaal Anderson was a force at defensive end for the Falcons, the game ball has to go to Ryan. He had his first career 300-yard passing game and his perfect pass to Jenkins was the key play of the game.

Key stat
In a game that featured many momentum swings, one sequence early in the fourth quarter can easily be overlooked. The Bears were unable to punch it in from the 1-yard line and finished the game 0-for-1 in goal-to-go situations. The failure to score points on that drive came back to haunt Chicago in the end.

Noteworthy
Anderson had the first sack of his career after starting 22 straight games since being chosen eighth overall in the 2007 draft. ... Falcons WR Roddy White has had at least 90 receiving yards in four straight games. ... Bears CB Charles Tillman left in the second quarter with a shoulder injury and did not return. ... Rookie RB Matt Forte has now scored a touchdown in four of his six career games.
