Quick Take: Falcons end on a high note

It was over when ...
Atlanta kicker Matt Prater hit his second field goal of the fourth quarter to give the Falcons a 13-10 lead. The Ravens did threaten to tie the game late but were denied in the final two minutes.

Game balls
Falcons rookie cornerback Chris Houston had a superb game, tallying eight tackles and nabbing the game-clinching interception late in the fourth quarter. For the Ravens, quarterback Kyle Boller played well under center, completing 9-of-15 passes for 144 yards and a touchdown.

Key stat
Baltimore's running game amassed only 45 yards on 19 carries and produced only one first down in the game.

Noteworthy
Last year's Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith, a rookie quarterback with the Ravens, demonstrated his inexperience by holding the ball too long and getting sacked four times. Overall, he finished 11-of-18 for 86 yards and an interception.
