Defensive end Robert Mathis recorded two of Indianapolis' three sacks, including one on Cleveland's final drive. But Mathis' biggest contribution came early in the fourth quarter when he recovered an Anderson fumble and returned it 37 yards for the game's only touchdown.

Key stat
Peyton Manning had a poor day, contributing two interceptions and a goal-line fumble to Indianapolis' four turnovers. But Cleveland could not capitalize, scoring only three points off Indianapolis' mistakes.

Noteworthy
The Colts are 3-0 against the AFC North. ... Indianapolis' injury-depleted defense continued to take hits on Sunday. LB Gary Brackett was carted off the field with an ankle injury in the second quarter, while DT Keyunta Dawson left the game in the fourth quarter and did not return.
