Quick Take: Chiefs host Bolts in key AFC West tilt

NFL.com and NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport has his thoughts on the game:

Why this game is intriguing: Because you just don't know which teams will show up. The Chiefs team that electric-shocked the Saints last week, proving to coach Romeo Crennel they have some fight left? Or the one that spent the first two weeks flailing? And which Chargers team will we get? The juggernaut from Week 2? Or the one that forgot to wake up when the Falcons came to town?

What to watch: Defense was a focus for the Chargers in the offseason; they tried to add speed and athleticism. They'll need it against suddenly rejuvenated running back Jamaal Charles, who broke out last week in a way that turned back to clock to his pre-injury days. On the other side, the Chiefs believe they boast a ball-hawking secondary, even if they've only picked off one pass. Brandon Flowers and the crew would like to pick on Philip Rivers this week, who tossed two to the other guys last week.
