Quick Take: Big plays propel Broncos

Ian Gold intercepted Vince Young's pass with 1:54 left in the fourth quarter to secure the win for the Broncos. Young was intercepted on consecutive drives in the fourth quarter, as Dre' Bly ended the previous Titans drive with 5:12 left in the fourth quarter.

Andre Hall replaced injured starter Selvin Young (who had replaced injured Travis Henry) and raced 62 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to give the Broncos a 14-point lead. That score put the Titans in a position to throw the ball, and the Broncos took advantage with two interceptions. Hall, a first-year running back out of South Florida, had only eight rushing attempts coming into the game. He finished with seven attempts for 89 yards.

Key stat
All four of the Broncos' touchdowns came on plays of more than 40 yards, highlighted by Glenn Martinez's 80-yard punt return in the first quarter. Brandon Stokley had a 48-yard touchdown reception and Brandon Marshall had a 41-yard touchdown catch. Conversely, both of Jason Elam's field goals came from inside 40 yards (21, 39).

The Broncos moved into a first place tie with the Chargers in the AFC West, at 5-5. The Chargers beat the Broncos in the previous meeting, but they will have a rematch on Dec. 24. ...
