As if putting his John Hancock on a four-year, $83.25 million contract extension weren't indication enough that Philip Rivers is married to the Chargers whether in San Diego or Los Angeles, we got more proof Monday.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports Rivers' deal includes a no-trade clause, per a source informed of the pact.
Rapoport adds Rivers will make $37.5 million fully guaranteed in 2015 ($15 million guaranteed, $22.5 million signing bonus).

The clause is another sign that the quarterback will likely spend his entire career in the Chargers organization, regardless of where the team plays its home games.
Earlier this offseason, Rivers displayed reluctance to sign a deal if the team planned to move to L.A. There was some speculation a new contract could contain a clause that voided a number of years if the team relocated.
Instead the opposite happened and he wields the ability to nix a potential trade -- not that any organization in its right mind would trade a healthy, productive franchise quarterback.
