Former San Diego Chargers defensive lineman Luis Castillo traveled to New England this past weekend for a Saturday visit with the Patriots, a source told the Boston Herald on Monday. Castillo left New England without agreeing to a deal, according to the Herald.

Castillo missed all but one game in 2011 because of a broken leg, but has been a consistent presence on the Chargers' defensive line throughout his seven-year career.

Free-agent wide receiver Brandon Lloyd agreed to terms with the Patriots, a league source told NFL Network's Michael Lombardi on Saturday.
