Packers clinch NFC playoff berth with Giants' loss

The Green Bay Packers clinched an NFC playoff berth with the Giants' 38-35 loss to the undefeated Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

It marked the seventh consecutive postseason berth for the Packers (9-4), who went on to beat the Raiders.

The Packers inched closer toward winning their fifth consecutive NFC North division title with the victory. Last year, Green Bay fell in overtime to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship game.
