Oklahoma reserve offensive lineman Jake Reed has been suspended indefinitely after being charged with burglary.

An affidavit filed in the case alleges that Reed broke into his ex-girlfriend's home early Sunday morning and assaulted her and a male companion.

"He is suspended indefinitely while the matter is pending, per OU policy," a school spokesman told the AP.

Reed, a senior walk-on from Ardmore, Okla., played in one game last season and was listed as the back-up left tackle on the depth chart released Monday for the season opener against Louisiana-Monroe.
