NFL SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW

NFL Summer Internship Program participants have the opportunity to contribute to the organization's success while receiving an unmatched, behind-the-scenes learning experience. Though interns work within specific departments, they are able to explore all aspects of the business of professional football through speaker presentations, mentoring relationships and networking opportunities. The summer program is approximately 8-9 weeks in length. The program will require interns to work 5 full days (approximately 40 hours) per week. Interns are paid an hourly rate for their work.

SELECTION DETAILS:

  • All prospective interns must be currently enrolled undergraduates entering their senior year at the time of submission. Prospective legal interns must be law students currently enrolled at and returning to school
  • Only undergraduate students with an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and law students in the top half of their class will be considered.
  • Applicants must be legally permitted to work in the United States and international students must have all visas and employment authorizations prior to the start of the internship. Completion of this application assumes eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Academic transcripts (official or unofficial) will be requested.
  • A completed application constitutes the completion and submission of all relevant fields in the profile, including the program specific questions and résumé.

NFL FILMS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The NFL FILMS Internship Program is a paid internship opportunity. Participants in the program have the chance to experience one of the most unique learning environments in the Television and Film industries. Our award-winning staff is willing to assist and mentor those individuals with a serious desire to further their studies and achieve their career goals. Incorporated into the internship program are seminars that cover topics such as navigating the unique employment landscape in this industry, the importance of networking, freelancing, and Q & A sessions with executives and former interns. Additionally, we provide time to observe and experience all phases of our operations in film and video production as well as the opportunity to work on one's own project to upgrade his or her skills and demo reel.

There are several departments within NFL FILMS that offer internship opportunities. A description of each department can be found below. Based on an applicant's stated interest, course of study and experience, we will assign an intern to spend the majority of their time in one of these departments: Audio, Cinematography, Footage Acquisition and Licensing, Player & Talent Relations, Producers, Project Management, International Operations, Studio, and Graphics.

NFL Media Internship participants have the opportunity to contribute to the organization's success while receiving an unmatched, behind-the-scenes learning experience. Though interns work within specific departments, they are able to explore all aspects of the business of professional football through technological innovation, mentoring relationships and networking opportunities.
