New York Giants' John Mara: Speedy settlement good for game

Owners from the New York Giants and New England Patriots, whose teams met in a preseason game Thursday night, were among the first high-ranking representatives to comment on the NFL's landmark $765 million concussion lawsuit settlement with retired players earlier in the day.

Giants co-owner John Mara said the settlement was big but fair, the New York Daily News reported.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft talked about it with NFL Network.

Also, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told The Dallas Morning News that the settlement was a win-win for everybody.
