NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that Suh is in town and will partake in the Detroit Lions' organized team activites.
The defensive tackle's absence from voluntary workouts this offseason has been a source of consternation and empty fist-shaking from an establishment that believes all players must attend non-mandatory workouts (yet, in the next breath, scoffs at the fact that they are defined as voluntary).
Per Rapoport, Suh stayed in contact with new coach Jim Caldwell throughout the offseason and visited with him last week.
Suh and the Lions are currently in negotiations about a long-term contract extension. Detroit's brass has said repeatedly it is optimistic about locking up its best defensive player.
UPDATE: As expected, Suh showed up to work Tuesday. The team's official website posted a photo of the defensive lineman in action.
