NCAA's Brian Hainline maintains less practice might not be answer

CBSSports.com is previewing the college football season this week from the angle of health and safety issues for players.

As part of that series, NCAA Chief Medical Officer Brain Hainline was interviewed about concussion issues by CBS Senior Football Columnist Dennis Dodd. Hainline had a Q&A with NFLEvolution.com in June.

Dodd said Hainline was "accessible, articulate and energetic" during the discussion:

Hainline said he is putting about 50 percent of his time into concussion issues.

He also reiterated his call for more importance to be placed on athletes' mental health, something he emphasized as one of the main topics of his job during his Q&A with NFL Evolution.
