Matt Toeaina released by the Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears terminated the contract of vested veteran defensive tackle Matt Toeaina, the team announced Tuesday.

Toeaina started 24 of 36 games played in five seasons with the Bears, recording 66 tackles, two sacks, one forced fumble and two tackles for losses.
