Julian Edelman, Stephon Gilmore tossed from practice
Two New England Patriots got booted from practice on Tuesday.
According to multiple reporters at practice, receiver Julian Edelman and cornerback Stephon Gilmore were tossed from practice after a brief scuffle.
Edelman had to be pried off Gilmore by fellow receiver Chris Hogan after an incomplete pass in the red zone, per the Boston Globe's Ben Volin.
Pats coach Bill Belichick has a standing rule that any fight during practice leads directly to an ejection, so it's not a surprise that Edelman and Gilmore were sent to the showers early.
Incident lasted about 10-15 seconds. Bill Belichick has non-negotiable practice rule: No fights, and if you do fight, you are ejected.
