Jason Pierre-Paul: Index finger doesn't get me sacks

Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is keeping a sense of humor amid trying times.

This is no doubt a nod to the critics mounting against the former Pro Bowler who underwent an array of hand procedures -- including an amputation of his right index finger -- after a brutal fireworks accident back in July.

Pierre-Paul posted a video of himself working out on Wednesday. If nothing else, his athleticism is still on full display.

It is startling to think that Pierre-Paul is only 26 and has yet to truly enter his prime. In the meantime, one of the more bizarre incidents in recent NFL history is playing out all around him.

Sometimes it can't hurt to laugh.
