Jadeveon Clowney videobombs AJ McCarron interview

AJ McCarron's reputation for being able to deliver in a collapsing pocket passed a light-hearted test Thursday when the former Alabama quarterback's interview with was interrupted with a rush from defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.

McCarron was discussing his visit with the Jaguars when the former South Carolina star got to McCarron with no left tackle in sight. McCarron was answering a question about his relationship with the Jaguars' coaching staff when Clowney made the "media sack" at the 52-second mark.

"My boy Clowney," McCarron said with a laugh. "He's a fool." J.P. Shadrick of played off Clowney's move nicely, telling McCarron "One thing I liked is that you didn't flinch when Clowney came at you."

Clowney's visit with the club coincided with McCarron's. But with all the top prospects visiting the Jaguars this week, it might not have been hard to get any two of them in the same camera shot.

In fact, Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr made an appearance during Clowney's interview with, interrupting it to request Clowney take it easy on him if the two happen to line up across from each other on Sundays.

Along with Carr, Clowney and McCarron, Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins and quarterbacks Teddy Bridgewater and Johnny Manziel were among those in Jacksonville this week as well.

The Jaguars hold the No. 3 overall pick in the draft, and could land Clowney, particularly if the Houston Texans pass on him with the No. 1 pick. Carr, if he slides past the first round, or McCarron, considered more likely to be a second-day draftee (Rounds 2-3), could also be in the Jaguars' plans if they choose to pass on a quarterback in the first round. Jacksonville is among several teams with top-10 picks that have a need at quarterback.
