Injuries: Justin Houston (swollen knee) didn't practice

Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston didn't practice again Thursday.

Houston has been dealing with a swollen knee this week and missed his second straight practice. Chiefs coach Andy Reid characterized the swelling as normal on Wednesday and didn't seem concerned.

The Chiefs host the Broncos on Sunday Night Football as they trail the Oakland Raiders for first place in the AFC West. A win would also help keep the tough Denver squad out of the playoffs.

Cornerback Phillip Gaines is also not practicing with a knee injury.

Here are some other injuries we are tracking Thursday:

  1. Falcons receiver Julio Joneswill play Saturday against the Panthers, coach Dan Quinn said. Jones has missed the last two games with a toe sprain.
