Indiana announced today that starting senior CB Antonio Marshall has been dismissed for a violation of team rules.

The Hoosiers open fall camp Friday.

His replacement likely will be either junior Kenny Mullen, who started the first five games last season before losing his job to Marshall, or junior Tim Bennett, who made three starts last season after transferring in from junior college. Mullen had 33 tackles and four pass breakups, Bennett 17 tackles and three breakups.

The school also announced that two freshmen, WR Taj Williams and DT Maurice Swain, didn't meet academic requirements and wouldn't be enrolling. They were two of IU's top six or seven recruits.
