'Hard Knocks' shows players, trainers still differ on concussions

The NFL is trying to reduce players' risk of concussions by changing the sideline and locker-room culture that urges an athlete to just "play through it." However, as Yahoo! Sports noted, this season's premiere of "Hard Knocks" shows that some NFL players still are adhering to old philosophies.

Scenes similar to this could be played out across training camps and along NFL sidelines as the 2013 season progresses. While trainers and team medical personnel will be beholden to league rules and their own desires to keep players safe and healthy, it could be an uphill battle in some cases.
