» Well folks, that's all for this edition of the two-minute drill. Be sure to check out the best and worst fantasy performances of the week later tonight and my Monday morning quarterback tomorrow.

» DeShaun Foster is running like a man possessed. He has well over 100 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns against Atlanta. ... The Raiders blocked what would have been a game-winning field goal by Phil Dawson at the end of regulation. Lane Kiffin gets his first win at the NFL level. ... Plaxico Burress scores on a 33-yard pass from Eli Manning. Burress now has five touchdowns this season. ... Matt Hasselbeck just threw his third touchdown pass of the afternoon, this one to Nate Burleson for 22 yards.

» Steve Smith has just returned to the field for Carolina. ... Rudi Johnson is out of action due to an injured hamstring. Kenny Watson has replaced him in the Cincinnati backfield. No word on his return. ... Steve Smith has missed most of the second half with an undisclosed ailment. He didn't have a catch before he left the contest. ... Reuben Droughns has two carries for two yards -- and two touchdowns. Reminds me of a Jerome Bettis stat line late in his career.

» DeShaun Foster finds the end zone on a 10-yard run. He now has two touchdowns and 83 all-purpose yards against Atlanta. ... Jake Delhomme just left the Atlanta contest with an injured arm. It looked like he hurt his right elbow. David Carr has replaced him. ... Maurice Jones-Drew just lost a fumble near Denver's goal line. He's having another awful stat line and could be this season's biggest disappointment after three weeks.

» Don't look now, but Joey Harrington has two touchdowns passes for Atlanta and he's closing in on 300 passing yards. ... LaMont Jordan just went over 100 rushing yards on the afternoon. He has beeen an absolute steal for fantasy owners this season. ... Jake Delhomme has just 76 passing yards against Atlanta, but he just threw his second touchdown pass of the Afternoon, this one to Jeff King. Steve Smith still doesn't have a reception.

» Travis Henry scores from short range to improve what was an awful stat line. ... Touchdown LaMont Jordan on a 1-yard run. He has 74 yards on the ground. ... Clinton Portis is back for Washington. ... Can someone please figure out the Jacksonville defense? They were awful against the run in the regular-season opener against Tennessee, but they've held Travis Henry to 15 yards after two-plus quarters this afternoon.

» Touchdown Reuben Droughns. He's the new Brandon Jacobs -- the score came from inside the Washington 5-yard line. ... Joey Harrington must hear footsteps from the newly-signed Byron Leftwich, because he's having a nice game against Carolina with 262 yards and one touchdown. ... Daunte Culpepper is back under center for the Raiders. Josh McCown's return from an injured leg is questionable.

» Rudi Johnson has minus-3 yards on 14 carries after two quarters in Seattle. He does have 33 yards as a receiver out of the backfield. however. ... Javon Walker has been held without a catch after two-plus quarters against Jacksonville. Brandon Marshall has four catches for 95 yards. ... Clinton Portis just came off the field limping -- it doesn't look too serious, but he's on the sidelines with trainers.

» Here's a shocker -- Steve Smith doesn't have a catch in the first half against Atlanta. ... Welcome back to earth, Derek Anderson. One week after a five-touchdown performance, he has no scores and two interceptions against Oakland. ... Matt Hasselbeck just threw his second touchdown pass of the afternoon, this one to Deion Branch on a 42-yard connection. ... Joshua Cribbs is emerging as one of the NFL's best return specialists. He just scored on a 99-yard kickoff return.

» Touchdown Chris Cooley on an 8-yard pass from Jason Campbell. The Giants defense is looking pathetic...again. ... Ronald Curry has three catches for 62 yards and one touchdown against Cleveland. ... The Falcons are really looking in the direction of Roddy White in the first half. He has five catches for 112 yards with one touchdown against Carolina. He'll be a hot name on the waiver wire next week. ... Shaun Alexander has four carries for minus-3 yards. Rudi Johnson has 11 carries for five yards in the same contest.

» Touchdown Jay Cutler to Nate Jackson. ... Brandon Marshall just made one of the sickest runs after the catch I've seen. He left about five Jacksonville jocks on the field. ... Josh McCown has returned for the Raiders. ... Touchdown Clinton Portis! Despite all the presesason worries over his knee and the presence of Ladell Betts, Portis has still been a solid fantasy starter. ... Sebastian "Sea Bass" Janikowski just connected on a 32-yard field goal. ... Jacksonville scored on a 3-yard pass from David Garrard to Reggie Williams. Garrard has been a real find for fantasy owners this season.

» Daunte Culpepper has come into the game for Oakland to replace Josh McCown, who limped off the field. ... Seattle is really attacking the Cincinnati defensive backfield. Matt Hasselbeck has eight pass attempts, while Shaun Alexander has a mere two carries. ... Touchdown T.J. Houshmandzadeh on a 35-yard pass from Carson Palmer. The Cincinnati-Seattle game could be a shootout. ... The Redskins are wearing throwback uniforms against the Giants. Finally some oldies that don't make you sick to look at them. ... Matt Stover just kicked a 46-yard field goal to beat Arizona at the buzzer 26-23. Stover kicked four field goals in the contest.

» Larry Johnson finished with just 42 yards on 24 carries. ... Brandon Jackson scores his first NFL touchdown on a 1-yard run. The Packers lead the Chargers 31-21 with under one minute left on the clock. ... Lee Evans had one catch for 7 yards against New England. He now has a total of 29 yards after three weeks. ... Tony Hunt just scored on a 1-yard run that puts the Eagles ahead 56-21. The Lions defense is like swiss cheese. Even at 2-0, this team was a pretender.

» Kurt Warner has over 250 yards and two touchdowns in limited time for the Cardinals. The fantasy value of both Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald would increase if he passes Matt Leinart on the depth chart, but I'm not sure that will happen. ... Jon Kitna has 403 yards and two touchdowns. ... Brett Favre just tied Dan Marino's all-time record for touchdown passes on a 57-yard score to Greg Jennings. Favre has 369 yards and three touchdowns on the afternoon. He's been a fantasy savior the past two weeks.

» Where did this Ronnie Brown performance come from? He was awful the first two weeks -- now he's over 200 all-purpose yards and has three touchdowns against the Jets. ... Marc Bulger finished with 116 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions in a 24-3 loss to Tampa Bay. That minus-2 fantasy points in some formats. ... Brett Favre just missed tying Dan Marino's touchdown record by about an inch. James Jones was stopped short of the goal line for the score that would have tied it.

» Roy Williams has 204 yards with one touchdown against Philadelphia, and he doesn't even have the most receiving yards in the game. That honor goes to Kevin Curtis, who has 221 yards and three touchdowns. .... Anquan Boldin just scored his second touchdown against Baltimore, a 32-yard pass from Kurt Warner. The Cardinals offense looks much better with Warner under center. ... Boldin has 162 yards in the contest. ... Dwayne Bowe has five catches for 71 yards and a touchdown against Minnesota. ... Steven Jackson has over 130 all-purpose yards against Tampa Bay, but he still has no touchdowns this season.

» Brian Westbrook is in the locker room having X-rays on his injured ribs. No word on his status for the rest of the afternoon. ... Kyle Boller has replaced Steve McNair for Baltimore. McNair seems to have aggravated an injured groin. ... Kurt Warner is back in the game for Arizona. He just threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Anquan Boldin. Matt Leinart is 9 of 20 for 53 yards in the contest. Boldin has 130 yards and one touchdown. ... Packers trainers are looking at the right knee of Donald Driver, but it looks like he'll return to the field.

» Tom Brady just threw his fourth touchdown pass, this one to Randy Moss. Moss has 115 yards and two touchdowns -- he has re-emerged as one of the elite fantasy wideouts in the NFL. ... Correll Buckhlater just scored on a 1-yard run. The Eagles are on their way to 60 points! ... Touchdown Samkon Gado. That's a blast from the past. He's been in the main runner for Houston since Ahman Green left with an injured knee. ... Mark Setterstrom left the Rams game on a cart with an injured leg. Their offensive line is shot full of holes due to injuries.

» Dwayne Bowe has made two nice catches for Kansas City, but its offense is awful. ... Kevin Curtis now has 10 catches. Wow. ... Vernon Davis finally has a nice stat line going for the Niners. He has four catches for 56 yards vs. Pittsburgh. Frank Gore has 38 yards on 13 carries in the contest. ... Touchdown Sammy Morris. The Patriots don't use Laurence Maroney near the goal line, and that is going to kill his value this season.

» Isaac Bruce is back in the game for St. Louis. ... Joseph Addai has two touchdowns for the Colts. ... Tom Brady now has three touchdown passes against Buffalo. His third score went to Jabar Gaffney. Here's a bad note for Laurence Maroney owners -- the Patriots used Heath Evans again near the goal line. ... Plaxico Burress is active for the Giants and should be active for fantasy owners. ... Jeff Wilkins has missed two field goals on a wet field in Tampa Bay.

» That sigh of relief you heard just came from fantasy owners who have LaDainian Tominson. He scored on a 21-yard pass from Philip Rivers. ... Marc Bulger is having a dreadful day in Tampa Bay -- 73 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. Yuck. ... There's talk of a Norv Turner curse on the Chargers around the office. He has never had success as a head coach at the NFL level, and his team has struggled to run the football all season.

» Jon Kitna (314 yards) and Donovan McNabb (332 yards) have combined for over 600 passing yards and six touchdowns in less than a half. ... LaDainian Tomlinson has 10 carries for 23 yards against Green Bay. ... Touchdown run for Cadillac Williams from 7 yards out. The rains have subsided a bit in Tampa Bay. It's 10-0 Buccaneers over St. Louis. ... It's Brian Westbrook just scored his third touchdown of the afternoon, this one on a 43-yard touchdown catch. Roy Williams just scored on a 91-yard catch from Jon Kitna. ... Antonio Gates has eight catches for 84 yards in the first half against Green Bay. ... Adrian Peterson looks great as a receiver out of the backfield. He's closing in on 100 all-purpose yards. He has all the tools to be a fantasy superstar.

» Yamon Figurs just scored on a 75-yard punt return. Touchdown for the Baltimore defense. ... Benjamin Watson scores for the Pats. He now has a touchdown in each of the first three weeks. ... Calvin Johnson is coming off the sidelines on a cart with an injured back. Not good news for the Lions. ... Matt Leinart is back under center for Arizona. ... Derrick Mason just scored on a 13-yard pass from Steve McNair. Mason is fantasy relevant again after an awful 2006 season. Touchdown for Shaun McDonald. He's had a great start to the season.

» It is pouring at the St. Louis-Tampa Bay contest. Not good news for the quarterbacks and receivers. ... Touchdown for Bubba Franks from Brett Favre. Favre is now one short of Dan Marino's record. The Packers lead 17-7. ... It seems like the Patriots overlooked Buffalo. The Bills defense is riddled with injuries, but New Enlgand has just one field goal on the afternoon. ... Isaac Bruce left his game against Tampa Bay with an apparent head injury. No reports on his return. ... Donovan McNabb has 10 completions -- three for touchdowns. ... Touchdown for Ronnie Brown. He now has 134 all-purpose yards and one touchdowns. The Jets run defense is awful.

» Kevin Curtis just scored another touchdown. He has eight catches for 187 yards with three touchdowns. He was active in 9 percent of NFL.com leagues. Maybe the Eagles need to use these throwbacks uniforms more often. ... Houston's Cedric Killing just came off the field on a stretcher. Let's hope he's OK. ... Buffalo's Paul Posluszny broke his left forearm against New England. That's another serious injury on defense for the Bills.

The Cardinals are going no huddle in an attempt to mix it up on offense. Matt Leinart isn't hurt either -- that's an interesting move. ... Kevin Curtis just scored another touchdown for Philadelphia. He is killing the Lions and his former offensive coordinator, Mike Martz. ... Touchdown for Joseph Addai on a 4-yard run. The Colts lead Houston 14-10.

» Incredible catch for Donald Driver for a touchdown -- followed by a Lambeau Leap! Brett Favre now needs two more touchdown passes to tie Dan Marino for the all-time record. ... He has 64 rushing yards and two scores in the first half.

» What a catch by Laveranues Coles! He hauled in a 3-yard pass from Chad Pennington for a touchdown. Coles owns the Miami Dolphins. ... Marshawn Lynch scored on a tough 8-yard run. He wasn't a great fantasy option this week based on the matchup in New England, but he just produced for owners who took a chance on him. ... Two carries, three yards for Larry Johnson. The Chiefs could be the worst team in the NFL.

» Peyton Manning connects with Dallas Clark on a 2-yard touchdown. The Colts tie Houston at 7-7. ... Trent Edwards is in for J.P. Losman, who hurt his knee in the first quarter. Could be a long day for the Bills. ... Vincent Jackson just beat Al Harris for a 27-yard touchdown catch. ... Kevin Jones finds the end zone for the Lions. He scores in his first game back from an injured foot. ... Allen Rossum just took a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown. Six points for the Steelers defense.

» Touchdown Adrian Peterson! He was a fabulous start with Chester Taylor out. The Minnesota offense looked a lot better with Kelly Holcomb under center. I smell a quarterback controversy already. ... Brian Westbrook just scored on a 25-yard run. He should post monster numbers this week. ... J.P. Losman was shaken up against New England. Trent Edwards was warming up on the sielines. ... Touchdown Jerome Mathis on an 84-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. The Houston defense has six points!

» I can't see how the Eagles can get fired up playing in those horrid uniforms. Their players must have protested these monstrosities. It reminds me of A Christmas Story when little Ralphie Parker didn't want to wear that bunny outfit but his mom made him do it anyways. FOX Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer is reporting that Plaxico Burress will be active in Week 3. That's good news for fantasy owners. ... Byron Leftwich will be the emergency No. 3 quarterback for Atlanta. However, don't be shocked to see him overtake Joey Harrington atop the depth chart within the next two weeks.

» The Eagles are wearing their inaugural uniforms against Detroit. And I thought the Pittsburgh Steelers throwbacks were bad last week. These Philadelphia uniforms are light blue and yellow. Grotesque. ... The top inactives include Andre Johnson, Chester Taylor, Tarvaris Jackson and L.J. Smith. Chad Pennington, Steve McNair and Brian Westbrook are all active.

» Brian Westbrook will start against Detroit, so make sure he's active. Kevin Jones will be active for the Lions, but he'll see limited snaps in his return from an injured foot. ... Kelly Holcomb will start for Minnesota in the absence of Tarvaris Jackson. It will be interesting to see how the Vikes perform on offense with a veteran quarterback under center.
