Dennis Pitta gets second-round tender from Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have given tight end Dennis Pitta a second-round restricted free agent tender, a source told NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

The team also made an original-draft tender to tight end Ed Dickson, NFL.com's Albert Breer reported.

Pitta made five starts for the Ravens in 2012, catching 61 passes for 669 yards and seven touchdowns. The 27-year-old tight end, a fourth-round draft pick by the Ravens in 2010 out of BYU, has 102 catches in three seasons in Baltimore.

Dickson, a third-year pro out of Oregon, has started 27 games for the Ravens over the last two seasons. He caught 54 passes for 528 yards and five touchdowns in 2011, his most productive year in Baltimore.
