On Monday, Clinton-Dix addressed his ill-fated tackle attempt.
The story had a happy ending for the rookie. Clinton-Dix later saved the day for Green Bay, poking a would-be touchdown reception out of Gronkowski's hands late in the fourth quarter. The Packers won, 26-21.
"You saw one of the biggest plays of the game was when Ha Ha got the ball out there in the end zone," Packers defensive coordinator Dom Capers said Monday, according to the Green Bay Press Gazette. "That was just a great finish on his part. If he didn't give extra effort finishing that play, it probably would've been a touchdown. When you're in a game like this, those are the kind of plays that make a difference."
