CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Quarterback David Carr returned to practice Friday for Carolina and was listed as probable for the Panthers' game Sunday at Arizona.

But Coach John Fox was not ready to declare Carr the starter.
"That will be a game-time decision," he said.
If Carr can't go, either Vinny Testaverde or Matt Moore would get the start.
Carr missed the last two days of practice with a back injury, but Fox said he looked good during practice Friday
"He was out there throwing," Fox said. "That's a good start. I'm not sure if somebody rams into him that will be such a good thing."
Carr also had to take a four-hour flight, which may not help his back. The Panthers were scheduled to arrive in Phoenix late Friday night.
Also probable for Sunday's game are cornerback Ken Lucas and linebacker James Anderson. Both practiced Friday.
Linebackers Dan Morgan and Adam Seward and running back Nick Goings have been ruled out and will not travel to Arizona.
