It's not every day a 9-1 team can play the underdog card.
While not using that status as motivation, Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians pointed out that his team's road trip to visit the Seattle Seahawks will be a measuring stick.

"Going up there, everybody is usually an underdog," Arians said, per the Arizona Republic. "We don't really need any more extra motivation to go play them, especially at their place. They're the world champions. We're just 9-1, we haven't done (expletive)."
Many believe that the Seahawks (6-4), fighting for their playoff lives and playing in front of a raucous home crowd, should win. Even five clowns who write for this website all picked the Seahawks to beat the division leaders.
Last season it was the Cardinals who went into Seattle, clawing to stay in playoff position. Arizona pulled out the 17-10 win.
The Cards know that not only do the Seahawks need a win for playoff position, they'll want to avenge their 14-game home streak being snapped.
"I'm pretty sure that it's in their head, that we came up and broke their streak," safety Rashad Johnson said. "I think the biggest thing they're thinking about is they're 6-4 and if they drop another game, it's a possibility they might not make the playoffs with the schedule they have left. It's also a big game for us if we want to hold on to the first-place implications we've got right now. It's going to be a lot of fun. It's exciting just to talk about it."
