Ben Roethlisberger starts for Steelers vs. Ravens

Ben Roethlisberger is officially active and has started Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

In a move that should have surprised no one, Big Ben is playing two weeks after undergoing surgery on the meniscus in his left knee.

Roethlisberger worked out prior to Sunday's game to ensure there were no issues or swelling in the knee. The quarterback took the majority of first-team reps in practices this week.

Despite the questions about Roethlisberger's status, Ravens players were always confident the Pro Bowl quarterback would play.

In his first game back returning from injury over his career, Roethlisberger is 2-5 with 201.9 passing yards per game, nine touchdowns, 10 interceptions and a 73.3 passer rating.
