Bears missing four defensive starters against Lions

The Chicago Bears defense will be short-handed in Sunday's matchup against the Detroit Lions.

Four defensive starters for the Bears -- safety Adam Archuleta (hand), linebacker Lance Briggs (hamstring) and cornerbacks Nate Vasher (groing) and Charles Tillman (ankle) -- are listed as inactive and will not play due to injuries.

Defensive tackle Tommie Harris, who was able to practice on a limited basis on Friday despite a sprained knee, is active against the Lions.

Ricky Manning Jr. and rookie Trumaine McBride, a 5-foot-8 seventh-round draft pick from Mississippi, are expected to start for Vasher and Tillman. Second-year linebacker Jamar Williams will likely get the start for Briggs.
