Bears LB Briggs, LT Pace listed as doubtful vs. Rams

CHICAGO -- Pro Bowl linebacker Lance Briggs is doubtful for the Bears' game against the St. Louis Rams, and left tackle Orlando Pace likely won't play against his former team Sunday.

Both players were injured during last weekend's 36-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Losing Briggs (sprained left knee) would be another big blow for a Chicago team that is 4-7 after dropping four in a row and six of its last seven. He leads the Bears with 108 tackles and is just about the only bright spot for a defense that gave up 537 yards to the Vikings.

Pace (strained groin) hasn't played to the level that carried him to seven Pro Bowls in 12 seasons with the Rams. He signed a three-year contract with the Bears during the offseason.

Tight end Desmond Clark (neck), defensive tackle Tommie Harris (knee) and cornerback Charles Tillman (mild concussion) are questionable for the Bears.
