Buckeyes Lead The Way

Ohio State led all colleges with 56 players on active NFL Kickoff Weekend rosters. Alabama, second with 55 players in 2026, had placed the most or tied for the most players on season-opening rosters in each of the previous nine seasons (2017-2025). Georgia (52 players), LSU (44) and Notre Dame (40) rounded out the top five.
