2017 NFL Draft class power rankings: Teams 13-16

Let's take a look at the draft hauls of the 32 teams in the league. In putting this list together, I looked at how teams addressed their needs, operated within the confines of their draft picks and sprinkled in my own assessments of some of their selections. My rankings continue with teams 13-16.

13. Seattle Seahawks

Draft picks:Malik McDowell (No. 35 overall), Ethan Pocic (No. 58 overall), Shaquill Griffin (No. 90 overall), Delano Hill (No. 95 overall), Nazair Jones (No. 102 overall), Amara Darboh (No. 106 overall), Tedric Thompson (No. 111 overall), Michael Tyson (No. 187 overall), Justin Senior (No. 210 overall), David Moore (No. 226 overall), Christopher Carson (No. 249 overall)

The Seahawks went "high ceiling, low floor" with DTs Malik McDowell (Round 1) and Nazair Jones (Round 3). Center Ethan Pocic is steady and a "what you see is what you get" type. CB Shaquill Griffin's aggressive, ballhawking playing style is right in line with what Seattle looks for. WR Amara Darboh and FS Tedrick Thompson could become good middle-rounders.

14. New York Jets

Draft picks:Jamal Adams (No. 6 overall), Marcus Maye (No. 39 overall), ArDarius Stewart (No. 79 overall), Chad Hansen (No. 141 overall), Jordan Leggett (No. 150 overall), Dylan Donahue (No. 181 overall), Elijah McGuire (No. 188 overall), Jeremy Clark (No. 197 overall), Derrick Jones (No. 204 overall)

While the Jets are still looking for a legitimate edge-bender to rush the passer, their additions of Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye add not only talent but also football character to the locker room. Wide receiver Chad Hansen and tight end Jordan Leggett could easily become good values, and sixth-round cornerback Derrick Jones in an intriguing project.

15. Jacksonville Jaguars

Draft picks:Leonard Fournette (No. 4 overall), Cam Robinson (No. 34 overall), Dawuane Smoot (No. 68 overall), Dede Westbrook (No. 110 overall), Blair Brown (No. 148 overall), Jalen Myrick (No. 222 overall), Marquez Williams (No. 240 overall)

After an offseason spent on adding to their defense via free agency, the Jaguars came in with a plan to upgrade their offense and did just that. Leonard Fournette is a battering ram and instant upgrade for the running game. Moving up to add a much-needed tackle in Cam Robinson was a necessary bit of strategy. Dede Westbrook is a weapon who can back safeties off the line of scrimmage.

16. Green Bay Packers

Draft picks:Kevin King (No. 33 overall), Josh Jones (No. 61 overall), Montravius Adams (No. 93 overall), Vince Biegel (No. 108 overall), Jamaal Williams (No. 134 overall), DeAngelo Yancey (No. 175 overall), Aaron Jones (No. 182 overall), Kofi Amichia (No. 212 overall), Devante Mays (No. 238 overall), Malachi Dupre (No. 247 overall)

I had the Packers pegged with five team needs and they knocked them all out with their five picks. CB Kevin King and safety Josh Jones could find early playing time with King adding length and ball skills outside and Jones adding an enforcer. I question whether Vince Biegel can become a productive NFL OLB, but I did like the Packers' approach of loading up on RBs to see which one sticks.
