The trenches figure to be a priority on defense, with a clear need for more talent next to Dexter Lawrence, assuming Lawrence, who has reportedly requested a trade, returns. There’s plenty of room to improve just about everywhere but edge rusher on that side of the ball. The Giants have used free agency to fill some gaps around Jaxson Dart this offseason, but they could look to add competition on the interior offensive line and would benefit from more toughness/size/playmaking ability at receiver. -- by Dan Parr
