Mendoza is a precision-based pocket passer whose game is built on rare accuracy and steady command in high-leverage moments. He lacks improvisational talent but proved to be a maestro playing the notes on the page with excellent rhythm and few mistakes as the season wore on. Mechanically sound and intensely accurate, Mendoza is fearless in attacking pre- and post-snap reads. He can feather throws into deep windows or between levels. He consistently hits moving targets in stride on digs, slants, outs and crossers. However, he needs plays to stay on schedule as his arm talent and velocity are fairly average. Third-and-long and red-zone execution stand out. Mendoza is big and tough but moves around the pocket with heavy shoes and limited escapability, which could invite excessive hits on Sundays. He can make life easier on his receivers and his play-caller, but above-average pass protection feels like a non-negotiable. He’s still young with football to learn and adversity to face, but his character, competitiveness and rapid ascension make it easier to project he will be a very good starter within his first three seasons.

Endries is a quarterback-friendly “F” tight end who still needs time in the weight room. His route-running can be monotonous and short-area separation uninspiring, but he’s tough, has a rebounder’s feel for boxing out defenders and is a consistent ball-winner even when coverage is draped all over him. He builds speed and is tougher on man coverage when allowed to stretch his legs on longer routes. Run-blocking is a roller-coaster ride of bad losses and quality wins. He lacks the play strength to block ends and whiffs in space on occasion, but he also gets his share of wins on split-zone, lead pulls and combo climbs to the linebacker. Endries should develop into an NFL starter.

Elarms-Orr is a well-built linebacker with above-average athleticism but problematic instincts. He has the speed and athleticism to get to the football from sideline to sideline. However, he frequently struggles with recognizing blocking schemes and too often loses track of play development. He’s rangy but average in zone coverage, with talent as a blitzer worth continued exploration. He will need improved processing but should dial in as a backup with a full-time role on special teams.

Sturdivant is a traits-based wideout whose production over the last two seasons doesn’t match the potential he shows on tape. His combination of foot agility, vertical speed and ball skills should allow him to run routes as an “X” or “Z” receiver. His routes could use better attention to detail to help increase his elusiveness at break points and free up his catch space. He’s very tough over the middle and will not shrink from combat catches. He can accelerate quickly to add run-after-catch on short throws. His run blocking is adequate but needs more strain. Sturdivant’s ingredients make him a worthy middle-round investment, as his best football could be ahead of him.

Masses has taken a lot of snaps but his FBS-leading ball production came out of nowhere. He plays with a ball-hawking mentality, keeping his eyes forward. He’s able to mirror and match releases while disrupting route timing with well-placed jabs from press. He has an innate feel for challenging throws at optimal angles and plays ball over man most of the time. He’s fairly effective at anticipating route breaks but frequently mauls and invites penalties when the route doesn’t go as expected. Masses lacked explosiveness in his NFL Scouting Combine workout, which will need to be balanced against the competitiveness he showed on tape.

Ott offers solid vision and a feel for setting up his blockers for success. His athletic profile, however, is lacking and his production declined sharply in his final two college seasons. He’s tight-hipped with slow change of direction and lacks the foot quickness/acceleration needed to elude closing tacklers in the NFL. He’s an adequate pass-catcher, but he’s not trustworthy in pass protection. Ott’s feel for lane choices along the interior doesn’t make up for his lack of quickness and burst.
