PLAYER ANALYSIS
High-volume battering ram with a three-ingredient recipe of size, strength and aggression. Hampton is a linear runner lacking creativity and wiggle, but once the gas is engaged, he runs like a downhill truck whose brake lines have been cut. He has the base, balance and power to batter tacklers and reignite runs after contact but he fails to recognize alternative run lanes that offer easier paths and more yardage. He needs to work on his pass protection but can create positive plays on swing passes and screens. Hampton is a tone-setting future starter who can handle a heavy workload, but he absorbs rare levels of heavy contact that could create durability or longevity issues if he doesn’t learn to pick and choose his battles.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Reactive off-ball linebacker possessing average measurables but premium explosiveness as an athlete. Asante plays with average diagnosis and will need to rely on speed over instincts for his production. He has instant acceleration and the range to find the action but needs to become more consistent at coming to balance as a tackler to avoid a high miss total. Teams will need to weigh his spotty coverage and mental mistakes with his impressive upside as a blitzer. The play is uneven, but he’s fast and tough, making him worthy of a Day 3 investment for further development and special teams value.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
When it comes to the three phases of a run block (positioning/sustain/finish), Lampkin has the best tape I’ve studied of any prospect in the 2025 draft. He’s tremendously quick and athletic to beat defenders to the spot laterally or to climb and connect in space. He plays with excellent hand placement, leverage and footwork to sustain blocks. He uses that stickiness to finish blocks, too. He’s sound in pass protection but will give way to size and length from time to time. Unfortunately, he falls far below NFL size standards, but he’s too good a football player to ignore. Smart teams should consider using Lampkin as a fullback who can get into space and stick to his block while offering position flexibility as an emergency backup at center. Whether he’s drafted or not, Lampkin has NFL-caliber talent.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Sixth-year senior coming off the strongest season of his career. Huzzie is short-armed with a compact build and plenty of play strength. He plays with good flow in his pedal and has the stop-start quickness to stay near the route. He uses his hands to help maintain feel for the release and route breaks, but he needs to dial it back or he’ll face penalties as a pro. His body control and athleticism are strengths, but his vertical speed appears limited. He lacks ideal measurables but is tough, athletic and experienced on special teams, which gives him a chance to find a roster spot as a backup nickelback.

Shorter edge defender and 36-game starter with a compact frame and good length for his size. Rucker has adequate first-step quickness as a move defender but struggles to play around big bodies and gets pushed around at the point. He's a confident pass rusher with little wasted motion and a feel for bypassing protection when he gets to an edge. However, he has average go-to moves and counters. He’s a detailed tackler and finishes the job at a high rate. Rucker has high character and adequate career production, but he will need to fight hard to slot in as a designated rusher in a 3-4 defense.

Ritzie put together solid production in his first season as a full-time starter. He plays with adequate early hands and good base width to take on blocks but sets shallow anchors against add-on blockers that prevent him from effectively defending his turf. Ritzie isn’t quick enough or explosive enough for me to project disruption from him in either phase. He might be fighting for a back-end roster spot in camp.

Though listed as a tight end, Nesbit is more of a bigger, taller slot receiver. He’s long but tight-hipped and will struggle getting off of press and in and out of breaks on time. When running routes requiring fewer break points, he’s able to pick up speed and create downfield opportunities for his quarterback. His hands can look sloppy in one game and then he’ll make challenging catches the next. He’s been productive, but he can’t help as a blocker and will have to prove he has the strength and consistency to make it in the league.

A three-year starter, Echols has adequate eyes and below-average instincts as a playmaker. He can get to where the ball is going when it flows wide but struggles to take on blocks and plug his run fits. He has short arms and sees tackles slip just out of reach. He can play on third downs and on special teams but needs to star in one or the other to become an NFL player.
