PLAYER ANALYSIS
Productive fifth-year senior and two-time team captain whose 2024 season was cut short by a knee surgery. Horton is a loose athlete with quality speed and above-average cut quickness. He’s an instinctive route runner with a feel for burst timing and he rarely drops what is thrown his way. Big press corners are likely to slow him and take a bite out of his effectiveness, but motion and bunch formations could solve that problem. He can knife through the heart of zone defenses and is competitive at the catch point but can be overtaken on 50/50 balls by length and size. If healthy, Horton has WR3 upside.

Round 7 • Pick 9
ACQUIRED VIA
PLAYER ANALYSIS
Fifth-year senior who made his way to Nevada for his final season after four years at Texas. Crawford lacks height and arm length, but he’s compact and very explosive. His testing at the combine showed off his long speed. He needs to play with better timing to make it work for him more consistently, though. Crawford is inconsistent as a run defender but is more than willing to hit. He needs to find a position fit as either a big nickelback or backup safety to pair with a starring role on special teams.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Latu is a tall tight end who has gained 20-plus pounds since his freshman season, but he still needs to keep getting stronger. He’s willing as a blocker and gets into block fits with good positioning and technique. However, he lacks the play strength to compete against an NFL opponent at the point of attack. He has good hands and a wide catch radius but lacks separation quickness underneath and the speed to outrun man coverage in space. Latu is not a clean fit as a Y or an F tight end, which makes his NFL projection challenging.
