Maag’s explosive pro-day testing will be much more of an eye-opener than his college film. His tape isn’t bad, but he looks more like a pass-catching tight end than a big tester when you see him moving around the field as a route-runner. His athletic traits and run blocking help his cause, but he might need to learn to earn a living as a big slot receiver who will make tough, contested catches.
