PLAYER ANALYSIS
Free-flowing athlete with dynamic footwork and an instinctive feel for how to elude opponents. Downs posted off-the-charts production over the last two seasons as an undersized slot with an oversized will. His confidence jumps off the tape and he has proven himself to be better at catching through contact than you might expect. While his route running is effective and fun to watch, coaches will need him to become more disciplined and efficient in order to maintain the timing of play designs. Downs might not have prototypical size, but he’s well-positioned to keep stacking catches and making plays as a starting NFL slot receiver.

Round 5 • Pick 34
PLAYER ANALYSIS
Richards is thick-hipped with good lower-body power fueling above average drive-blocking potential. He clears space when he’s centered into opponents, but he lacks the body control and hand consistency to do so on a regular basis. Pass protection concerns will be diminished with a move inside, but there will still be work needed when it comes to getting his feet in position to slow interior rushers. Richards’ drive blocking and potential position versatility give him a shot at a backup role with upside.

Round 7 • Pick 2
ACQUIRED VIA
PLAYER ANALYSIS
Green’s size and deep-ball success make him a more intriguing Day 3 prospect than the overall production and skill set might suggest. Like most vertical specialists, he’s not going to shake man coverage on intermediate routes, but he has decent hands and consistently finds himself overtaking deep coverage with his build-up speed. He might find himself fighting for a spot on a practice squad or the back end of a roster.

Round 7 • Pick 10
ACQUIRED VIA
PLAYER ANALYSIS
Vohasek possesses average size but above-average upper-body power for his size. He’s heavy handed and lands strikes with good accuracy. He is efficient working around blocks. He needs to improve at making a quick diagnosis of movement to avoid being sealed and is still adding to his rush repertoire. He might need to add more mass, but, more importantly, he will need to stay healthy and available in the pros.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Long-limbed 3-4 edge defender lacking the necessary play strength and anchor to take on NFL tackles right now. Taylor will struggle to set the edges consistently and hasn’t proven he can beat a quality Y tight end at the point of attack. He’s quick off the ball and has some juice/bend getting to the edge, but he will need to upgrade his hand skills and inside counters to threaten the pocket.

Round 7 • Pick 26
PLAYER ANALYSIS
Riley is a rotational nose tackle with a proportional frame carrying good thickness. He’s capable of battling against double teams and absorbing contact, but he needs to improve his technique and work on taking control of the action. He’s primarily a block-eater and is unlikely to make many plays, but his size will be appealing.
