Jones brings a nice blend of size, power and contact balance to the field. He's talented at maneuvering blockers into tacklers and has the footwork to cut and create new pathways when needed. He's not a very rhythmic runner and has played in a downhill rush attack that forced him to play a little hurried at times. He lacks third down and special teams experience but appears to have the size and positional traits to fit into any NFL run scheme. Jones should get a shot to earn a spot on a practice squad.
