He has the stopping power to take on big running backs with success in run support and Hemby's physical profile makes him suited to handle man cover duties against tight ends. However, his lack of recognition and desired coverage traits should limit what teams ask of him. He has a chance to become a capable special teams talent, which improves his chances of making a roster as a backup.
