NEEDS ANALYSIS
(NOTE: Needs appear in alphabetical order.) GM Dave Gettleman loves him some hog mollies, so it would be a bit surprising if he doesn't pluck the eventual successor to Nate Solder at left tackle. Building around last year's top pick, Daniel Jones, is the right priority, and with a deep class of WRs to choose from, adding one with good size would make sense. However, the G-Men undoubtedly could use more juice off the edge on defense even after the addition of Kyler Fackrell (one-year deal), who did reach double digits in sacks with the Packers in 2018.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Three-year starter and current bellcow of a line that is a consistent front-runner for the Joe Moore Award. He's played both tackle spots but may get first crack at playing on the left side, due to the dearth of talent there. Thomas is a gritty player with above-average recovery talent to "get the job done" when his process breaks down. He's a Day 1 starter who comes in well-coached and technically savvy, but occasional leaning, lunging and inconsistent knee bend in pass pro could be isolated and attacked by pass-rush wolves looking to feast if he doesn't get those areas cleaned up.

Ascending safety prospect offering a combination of plus athleticism, field awareness and versatility. McKinney split time equally at slot, free safety and in the box and is accomplished in each. His coverage instincts, athleticism and quick-twitch burst are more cornerback than safety, which is why he's likely to be a coveted toy for teams looking to upgrade and diversify their sub-packages. He can sit in center field all day if needed, and he's an adequate open-field tackler but has room for improvement in that area. McKinney represents the new breed of versatile, matchup safety with high upside as an early starter.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Swing tackle prospect with outstanding length and athleticism, but lacking play strength and hand usage to survive against NFL competition at this time. It is important to note that Peart has the potential to get stronger and that issues of concern are mostly correctable. He has the physical traits that put him in position to get better and better as a pro, but after four years as a collegiate starter, teams may wonder whether he has the necessary demeanor and grit at the point of attack to stick around as a pro.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Short, strong cornerback with good aggression but troubling tape in terms of staying connected to routes. Tight hips and a lack of coverage instincts are a challenging combination for a cornerback who can be over-responsive to route movements. He plays with good toughness and decent ball skills, but he lacks functional length and struggles to flip hips and reach top gear quickly, which could make him a sitting duck against vertical challenges.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Barrel-chested grinder with the toughness and power to play brute ball in the trenches. Lemieux is well-known for his toughness and intelligence. He's an experienced, well-schooled guard. He's athletic enough to perform in a variety of run schemes, but does his best work with combo blocks and double teams. Against NFL interior athletes, he will find it tougher to keep blocks centered and sustained. He should be OK as a run blocker early on, but his issues in pass protection might not be quickly fixed and could push him into the "good backup, eventual starter" category.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Long-limbed, 4-3 linebacker with moldable play traits and an attacking play demeanor. Needs to add muscle and learn to play under control. Brown has the speed and length to put himself into position to make plays but he overshoots open field tackle opportunities. He is average in zone coverage, but has intriguing rush/blitz potential that might be tantalizing. He might climb the ladder from a backup to something more if he can play stronger and with more discipline.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Smallish edge defender who plays with high football IQ and motor to help create impact production. Coughlin is a proactive rusher who mixes up his approach to access the edge, but he'll need to develop his hands and play with leverage to beat NFL tackles. He may be between positions due to a lack of size and suddenness, so shining as a core special-teamer is essential.

ACQUIRED VIA
PLAYER ANALYSIS
Tough inside linebacker prospect whose physicality will be overshadowed by a lack of functional quickness and short-area athleticism. Brunson is built for life inside the box, but once it spills wide, he struggles with pursuit angles and range. He's unable to handle man coverage, which further limits his chances of making a roster.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Williamson has good size and the body type to get even bigger as a down defender. He was used in the role of big nickel, acting as an extra linebacker near the line of scrimmage while spot-dropping into coverage underneath. He's willing and decisive as a run defender and sees what he hits, but he doesn't carry much stopping power. He's lacking in reactive athleticism to track slashers in run support and cover slots man-to-man. The lack of production and subpar explosiveness could hurt his chances of being drafted or making a squad.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Running back-turned-linebacker with good length and range. He's still piecing together his fundamentals and instincts at the position. Crowder can really run and that shows up when sprinting and weaving around traffic to chase down outside runs and perimeter passes. He has a feel for lane choices by runners, but flowing with leverage and learning to tackle with balance/proper pad level are still works in progress. His fluidity and athleticism are excellent building blocks for future growth. Plus, his potential in coverage and on special teams adds to his chances for success. Crowder should fit nicely into a backup role early on.
