PLAYER ANALYSIS
Full-time starter for only one year with a history of running a very basic set of routes against below-average competition. Hurst put together an excellent workout with crisp feet, good speed and desired explosion testing. Plus, he caught the ball well. However, he doesn't feature the competitive demeanor teams look for at the top of the route, with the ball in the air, or after the catch and that must change. He possesses the traits to get into camp, but needs to prove his best football is in front of him after a pedestrian college career.
