Despite the showy yards-per-catch average, the confidence in Schoen diminishes greatly the further he gets away from the line of scrimmage. While he has decent build-up speed down the field, his inconsistent hands and lack of ball skills are a major stumbling block. His pro day testing might get him a second look, but there just isn't enough flash on tape to show those numbers will be translatable on the next level.
