Cole possesses good size and strength to compete for a role as a box safety, but his lack of experience and consistency should be a concern for NFL evaluators. He flashes traits and potential to become a more impactful run defender but gets lost in coverage and can be exploited. He has some special teams value and might be worthy of a stash spot on a practice squad.
Landrews has experience in all three safety spots, but is best-suited as a two-high safety with some man coverage potential. On the backend, he tends to trust his eyes and plays with good responsiveness to drive down on digs and deep outs. However, when forced to match up on a man, he doesn't have enough route anticipation to make up for his lack of recovery burst, putting him into chase mode too often. He carries below-average pop in his linear frame and is a grab-and-drag tackler who doesn't always inspire confidence in run support. Landrews has the physical and play traits to get his shot in a camp.
