PLAYER ANALYSIS
Free safety with instincts to scan the field through the quarterback's eyes. Kirk is twitchy, rangy and has ballhawking potential, but his wiry frame matches very poorly with his tackling inconsistencies. Big runners batter him near the line of scrimmage and he needs to keep the coverage duties headed downhill as his man-cover technique needs work. Kirk is best-suited in center field or as a split-safety where he can roam and rely on his anticipatory reads and explosiveness in attacking throws.
