PLAYER ANALYSIS
The lanky edge rusher followed up an impressive 2018 with a slightly disappointing senior season that saw a drop in production and ended prematurely due to a broken leg. One look at his NFL brother (Romeo Okwara, Lions) should tell teams to project Julian as a bigger, stronger player with time. He has build-up speed up around the edge and carries an impressive closing burst to seal the deal, but he's in desperate need of a rush counter to keep tackles guessing. He hasn't shown a consistent ability to play the run, so his NFL success could generate a thumbs up or down based primarily on his ability to cause havoc as a rusher.

Round 5 • Pick 1
PLAYER ANALYSIS
Power-based edge defender who uses technique and force to make up for a lack of explosiveness. He does an adequate job of bracing up and defending his turf when the run comes his way, but he lacks the athletic gifts to make many plays outside of his area. He's able to muscle up and create some pocket pressure against college tackles, but that approach is unlikely to yield results against most NFL starters. Kareem has size and toughness but may not have enough athletic ability to ever be more than a backup 4-3 base end.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Jones is a 3-4 outside linebacker with good size who figures to get bigger and stronger with time. While he doesn't have a lot of experience, he's been praised for his football character and team-first attitude and displayed rapid improvement when given a chance in 2019. His strength and athleticism are traits teams can work with as a rusher and run defender. His career production at Notre Dame won't get teams excited, but Jones has put together enough flashes to go with his measurables and could intrigue teams as a developmental edge defender.
