PLAYER ANALYSIS
Render's body type and traits could push his draft value higher than his tape would warrant as an edge prospect. He plays with good burst and consistent energy but lacks the hand skills needed at the point of attack and as a pass rusher. He's a hand-down, even front end but could be asked to transition into a 3-4 stand-up linebacker role. He'll need to prove himself as a special-teams contributor while developing his skill level to be a "make it" prospect.
