Roy made a name for himself with his surprising athleticism and surge of activity and production. Contact balance and upper-body power are above average but short arms diminish consistency of effectiveness at the point of attack. Snap quickness and pad level could continue to create some disruptive opportunities as a pro. He needs to play in a scheme that puts him on the move to take advantage of his quickness and diminishes the need for hand-to-hand combat against NFL size. Roy has shown an ability to play the run and pass. His athletic traits could open the door to a back-end roster spot as a backup 4-3 nose.
