PLAYER ANALYSIS
Three-year starter who uses hand placement, leverage and athletic ability to make up for his lack of mass and length. He's patient to center blocks and runs his feet to lock in and begin sustaining. He has the lateral quickness and body control to reach, pull and stay connected to blocks on the move. He has issues with timing blocks up to linebackers, but that should be correctable. Below-average physical traits could limit his suitors, but scheme fits will like the movement and intangibles he brings to the table. He has early backup, eventual starter potential.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Big slot receiver with desired size and athletic ability but lacking speed and consistency of play. There are times when Wright feels like more like a running back than wideout with his eye-catching open-field vision and elusiveness. While he is talented with the ball in his hands both after the catch and as a return specialist, he lacks sharp route-running and overall separation burst to uncover consistently against man coverage. His small hands and fading focus in traffic are issues he must contend with in order to find an NFL home.

ACQUIRED VIA
PLAYER ANALYSIS
Outside cornerback with good size, but a player who needs to find the proper coverage fit to help him do his job. Hand has played press, off-man and a variety of zones. His recognition and response from zone is adequate, but he doesn't have the necessary transition quickness and burst to stay close enough with NFL-caliber targets. Hand is fairly competitive and disciplined in coverage, but the skill level appears to be average. He might have a future as a backup for a zone-heavy cover team, but he needs to improve his run support and prove he can handle some special teams duties.

Round 6 • Pick 17
ACQUIRED VIA
PLAYER ANALYSIS
Undersized inside linebacker better-suited at the WILL spot in a 3-4, where he can be protected by size around him. He has enough speed and nose for the football to find work on this level, but it may not translate to success in the pros due to his lack of traits and plus speed. He's not twitchy or athletic enough to get away without top-notch instincts and recognition. He's just average in those areas. He loves football. The intangibles and special teams production could give him a shot.

Round 7 • Pick 27
ACQUIRED VIA
PLAYER ANALYSIS
Resilient, mentally tough linebacker whose ability to fight back after two ACL tears to the same knee should tell teams about his football character. Of course, the same ACL tears also tell teams that durability could be a major concern. Russell has had trouble keeping weight on in the past and weighed just 221 pounds at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in January. His play speed and athleticism are both solid, but he lacks elite instincts as a playmaker to offset concerns about his size and consistency against the run. A trip into camp as an undrafted free agent could be his post-draft destiny.
