Edge defender missing the necessary combination of quickness and take-on consistency to handle a dual role as run stopper and pass rusher. Sterk has size and natural strength. He operates with a good understanding of what he needs to do from play to play, which explains his ability to chalk up a stat sheet. However, he's a short-stepper with below-average short-area quickness, which will limit his rush and range as a pro prospect.
